I’m so excited to announce my collaboration with Leah Goren: the Loki Loki Brand Identity Basics
So, on the ABOUT page of my website, I listed these 10 “beliefs” that I bring to all my projects. I’ve been wanting to do something more with them, so I started thinking. They’re the foundation of my approach… The staples… The basics… LIGHTBULB. POP! Let’s be cute and connect them to FASHION. I love fashion. You love fashion. It’s fun. It’s on-brand. Most importantly, it’s an excuse to collaborate with Leah Goren.
To start I created a Pinterest board of “the wardrobe basics according to Cody” AKA “the Cody starter-pack” (you know, all the things that if you know me, you expect to see me wearing at least three of at any given time) and sent it to Leah…
…and she expertly, amazingly, flawlessly took it from there:
How amazing are these illustrations?
In addition to being an all-around amazing and accomplished artist, Leah is also the co-author of the book Ladies Drawing Night. Last summer when the book launched, I went to a Ladies Drawing Night ladies drawing night and was lucky to meet Leah and her co-authors, Julia Rothman and Rachael Cole. The book is awesome all three of the authors signed it for me. You can buy it here.
For more Leah, check out her site here, follow her on Instagram, and check out her Tumblr.
And, of course, stay tuned for the Loki Loki Brand Identity Basics series, rolling out soon on this very blog and an Instagram near you!
