Be so good they can’t ignore you.

Steve Martin

Loki Loki designs beautiful and effective brand identities.

We work with businesses and entrepreneurs in need of a fresh, bold, and sophisticated look that gets them noticed. We launch compelling, strategic, and unique brand identities that attract ideal clients and customers and take businesses to the next level.

Our approach is holistic and thorough; in addition to overall brand identity design—logo, business cards, signage, social media, style guide, etc.—our projects always include website strategy, design, and development.

It is our mission to connect bottom-line goals to impactful, rock-star design, so strategy is always front-and-center of every brand we build and website we create.

We believe that:

…just like you, your business should “dress for the job it wants.” Let’s figure out where you really want to be and suit up for that.
…your website and marketing materials should work for you. And work for you.
…collaboration is key. Design should happen with you, not to you.
…transparency is also key. Since we are creating tools for your business, you should feel comfortable and confident using and managing them.
…investing in a well-executed, consistent, and impactful brand identity always pays off.
…a beautiful website without a clear call-to-action is a waste of a beautiful website.
…although the branding process can be daunting, we should always strive to make it fun. Because design and creating is fun!
…building a loyal and engaged community is much more valuable than gaining “followers.”
…form and functionality are equally important. Yes, we’re a design agency and of course things should look great. But they should work just as beautifully.
…you shouldn’t have to “do it all.” Do what you do best and what you’re passionate about and build a solid team to help you with everything else. It takes a village! Get yours!

Cody has an intuitive artistic approach to brand design that is not merely a matter of skill or technique; hers is an eye that sees the bigger picture of your business. Hers has the mark that has characterized great design historically.

Alice Garik

Our owner and creative director is serious about taking care of business.

Like seriously serious: she has a tattoo that says so.

Cody McBurnett has always lived and breathed creative entrepreneurial culture, splitting her formative years between her mother’s salon and her grandmother’s atelier. She learned early on about the importance of good style, good design, and good business—and how they can completely change one’s mood, outlook, and chances for success. Like a great haircut or the perfectly tailored ensemble, good brand design is an eye-catcher that allows the real—and best—of what you have to offer shine through. On that same note, bad brand design, like a bad haircut or an unflattering outfit, can seriously distract from the good stuff.

In this vein, Cody is Loki Loki’s brand stylist, nailing the design and strategy and attracting the eye of consumers so they can discover the outstanding products and services each client’s business has to offer.

Cody’s clients and collaborators rely on her not only for her design sensibility and TCB professionalism, but also her mentorship and creative problem-solving skills. She is invaluable at helping clients navigate unfamiliar territory (selling online and off, keeping up with web and mobile trends, identifying missed opportunities in marketing and social media, structuring web content, etc.) in a way that is always genuine, straight-forward, and knowledgeable.

Cody lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband Doug, son Waylon, and their two small (but loud!) dogs. Outside of work, some of the things she enjoys are beaches, Italy, The Office (that’s what she said!), loud rock shows in small venues, and Bergdorf Goodman. C’mon and get to know her even better!
