What’s in a (our) name? Loki was a Nordic god of mischief. And here at Loki Loki we’re all about breaking rules and pushing boundaries… All in the name of eye-catching marketing design, of course. That, and our founder, Cody, just happens to be Nordic herself (and maybe just a little mischievous too). Why say it twice? Our goal is to produce work that gets our clients noticed and inspires the gasp, “Ooh! Looky looky here!” Looky Looky, Loki Loki… Get it? Yeah, you got it.

Cody McBurnett,

Loki Loki’s founder, director, and creative czarina, is the co-pilot and workhorse on all of our marketing design adventures.

Cody has always lived and breathed creative entrepreneurial culture, splitting her formative years between her mother’s salon and her grandmother’s atelier. She learned early on about the importance of good style, good design, and good business—and how they can completely change one’s mood, outlook, and chances for success. Like a great haircut or the perfectly tailored ensemble, good marketing design is an eye-catcher that allows the real—and best—of what you have to offer shine through. On that same note, bad marketing design, like a bad haircut or an unflattering outfit, can seriously distract from the good stuff. Cody is Loki Loki’s business stylist, nailing the design and strategy, attracting the eye of consumers so they can discover the outstanding products and services each client’s business has to offer.

When not in Brooklyn saving the world from bad design, Cody can be found eating tofu tacos on Rockaway Beach, daydreaming at Bergdorf Goodman, or front and center at any given rock and roll show in the New York metropolitan area (she does have the words “rock” and “roll” tattooed on her body, after all). Her favorite places in the world tend to be islands: New York City, Iceland, the Kuna Yala Archipelago (in Panama), and Capri to name just a few, so you might also find her there. Or maybe she’s already back at her desk.
