Redesigning My Website

I’m the branding expert, creative design evangelist, “website girl.” I’m known for bubbling over with excitement for my clients, encouraging them to be authentic, get out there, reach for their most ideal customers. I create beautiful, tailored, eye-catching brand identities, interactive websites that get results, and teach my clients how to develop their brand voice in social media, blogging, and other marketing channels. And yet…

And yet I haven’t been blogging. I haven’t been sending you newsletters. I haven’t been teaching, networking, schmoozing. My portfolio hasn’t been updated in… Maybe a year?

So yeah… I’ve become a classic case of the shoeless cobbler.

Well, my feet are busted. It’s time to dust off the Valentino Rockstuds and put my money where my mouth is. And, as it turns out, (let’s just keep this cliché train chugging along) get a taste of my own medicine.

I’m elbow-deep in this process and it’s hard. I just want you to know that I know that. I’m deep in it right this very second. My designs and content go to my developer (Hi, Brandon!) on Friday. And there’s still so much left to do!

What’s helping to ease the pain and actually make this process so amazing, despite the struggles, are the amazing women on my team. I’m working with Melea Seward, who many of you know and love (and if you don’t, change that right now; the rest of this email can wait), on content, messaging, and online strategy. Evi Abeler, photographer extraordinaire, took photos of me so “me” I opted out of retouching. And NINE of my stellar, super-busy clients (every person I asked actually, to much to my surprise and delight) agreed to take the time to film themselves talking about working with me for a video that will be featured on the new site. I’m so lucky. I’m so in awe.

And just so you know, this isn’t a total rebrand… I’m still going to be doing what I do, how I do it. If anything, I’ll be offering even more value for clients past, present, and future (more on that soon!). It’s more of a truebrand. A long-overdue opportunity to communicate what I do in a thoughtful, strategic way that feels authentic to those of you who know me and love me. Exactly what I make all of you do!

So please stay in touch; I can’t wait to show you what’s next!
