Eataly is the place to be in NYC. Ironically, it’s the non-NYC of it all that makes it such a destination: In the marble-walled “piazza,” sipping a glass of Barolo, enjoying fresh, plum tomato focaccia, you are transported. And after my trip to Italy this summer, where I fell so very madly in love, it’s oh-so nice to have a place so close that brings me right back.
One of the best things about Eataly is the all-encompassing, unrelenting visual food porn of it all. The colors and the packaging and the gorgeousness of everything Italian… Enjoy some of my favorite sights and design inspirations:
